Big RSS Icon
Just a reminder to our readers that New Liberty Creation provides a full RSS feed that you can view from your favorite feed reader. You can subscribe in the top right corner by clicking on the “Entries” link, or at the end of any normal post.

Not sure if you want to subscribe or not? Or are you just wondering what the heck RSS actually is?

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. It’s a way to get updates to a website without having to give out any personal information like your name or email address. No possibility of spam! Not only that, but you get to choose how you read the content, using any feed reader you want.

What’s a feed reader? I’m glad you asked.

You may already be using a form of feed reader, and not even realize it. If you use personalized home page services like My Yahoo, My MSN, or iGoogle, you’ve got RSS capabilities built in. That’s how syndicated content like news, weather and stock quotes appears on your personal page. You can also add content from any blog or other site that uses RSS to provide updates.

There are also specific websites and tools that do nothing but pull RSS feeds. A feed reader will tell you when an update occurs to a website you are subscribed to, and then you can read the update right there. You don’t need to go to each one of your favorite websites every single day to check if they have any updates anymore. Everything you want can be in one, convenient place.

I personally use Google Reader to manage all of my RSS subscriptions. This is a web-based feed reader, which means you can use it and browse to it just like you would any other website. You need a Google account to use Google Reader.

Another popular web-based feed reader is Bloglines.

There are also some feed readers that install and run on your computer just like any other program you use, like Microsoft Word. Newsgator and Feed Demon are popular choices in this category.

If you use Firefox or Internet Explorer 7, you can also use their Live Bookmarks feature to pull RSS updates.

RSS subscription options
Just click here, and you will be shown a list of subscription options. If your favorite feed reader is not shown, use the drop down box to select your preference.

And that’s it. You can now get updates and read everything on New Liberty Creation without ever having to visit the site again.

Don’t like RSS?

If RSS isn’t for you, we also offer email updates. We promise not to spam you, or give your information to anyone else. Emails are only sent if there is an update, and even then, you will only ever get a maximum of one email per day. Use the form at the top right corner of the page to subscribe with email.
