David majored in economics, but found his real training outside of the classroom of state universities. Christian writings and the Austrian school of economics have been his most important tutors. He has attended Mises University and the Austrian Scholars Conference at the Ludwig von Mises Institute. He also maintains affiliation with the Acton Institute for the study of religion and liberty.
