I wanted to let you know I think we are on the same page regarding Christianity and the worship of the State. I’ve been reading lewrockwell.com for a few years now and have started to think about changing careers to teach some of the things I’ve been reading. In particular, I’m thinking about graduate school in either law, economics, or philosophy. It seems to me that there are many great sites out there (like this one) that are giving people the right information. But it only goes to people like me who are actively seeking it out. How do we reach the rest of the country? What is the best way to do that? More information? Becoming yet another college professor? Writing books? Isn’t all of that available in abundance already?

For me, I know I’m dissatisfied with my current career in Corporate America. I want to focus on more than simply wringing more efficiency out of a given process. I’m a Christian and I know that the key is getting people to see the freedom they have in Christ.

I guess I just wanted to hear from you and how your journey has brought you to start this website. As you can see, I’ve started some writing on a blog, but I don’t post very often. What do you think the goals should be for this line of thought on your site? Convert people to Christianity? Inform them of Libertarian options?

I’m looking for more people to converse with so I thought I would give this a shot.

Nothing has inspired me more this past decade than the books of Frank Viola, especially Reimagining Church and From Eternity to Here. These two books are absolutely fabulous. His Pagan Christianity, written with George Barna, is also spectacular. I’d rather point to Viola than reinvent the wheel.
